LEVEL 097 - METASTABLE TO CHAOS

See the wall arch above the bees. I place a block just under the far left wall block and one square in. Clear only as much space as you'll need for this move. Then run like H- up and to the right and down. Just as you arrive at the lower right, the bees are clearing away a bit for you to dash up along that right wall to home. You may have to dodge a bee or two, but you, my swift fingered friend , can do it !

Happy Days!

Hold everything! Just got 283 by not pushing the block in one tile, but rather letting it rest just under that left arch . The bees behave in a much more civilized manner. Chip can even go up the middle toward the goal (from that lower right position) Does this make sense to anyone?

Limo...Re Level 97

Lets see...I may have cut out a step or two on that run across the top by going all the way till I'm directly over the second block (the one you push up) then skirting around it without taking any extra steps to clear a path.

The usual no false moves, run like H, and the luck of the Gods, also!

I had real trouble duplicating Richard Prentice's reported 286 on this level by going back over the top of the bee chamber after placing the disturbing block. I was convinced it was a fluke, or impossible. And traveling that way, 285 is the best one can do. So I began to research ways to enter from the left or bottom after placing the block. The result is this pattern, which yields a consistent 287!! Try it out.

D U4 R9 D R D2 L U2 R U L9 U L D4 L D R (this sequence places the block quickly)

L2 D9 R7 U6 R U3 R (takes you to the exit)

Note: Timing is critical. You cannot afford a misstep because you must dance with a bee during the U6 R U3 sequence at the end.

I have got 287 on Level 97 last night and I am pretty sure it is possible to go higher. I go down, left, down, up 4, right, up, right 9, down, right, down, down, left, then I push the block up and over to under the single brown square (left 9), get above it and push down 4, get to the left of it and push it into the bugs 5, go down and wait a bit then look for an opening into the exit square. I just did 287 again while I was typing this email in.

I have got 288 on Level 97 last night which is one higher than I had sent you previously and a new record. I go similar to the last time I told you with a few small changes. I go down, left, down, up 4, right, up, right 9, down, right, down, down, left, then I push the block up and over to under the single brown square (left 9), get above it and push down 4, get to the left of it, wait a fraction of a second, and push it into the bugs 5, go down 2 and wait a bit then look for an opening into the exit square by passing the one bug underneath him and then going up.
